The Canadian Crafts Federation / Fèdèration canadienne des mètiers d’art presents Canada as the official guest country of the 2009 Cheongju International Craft Biennale, the largest international fine craft event in the world.

Within the Canadian Pavilion, our artists will speak to the world as cultural ambassadors, using the language of craft to develop a deeper understanding of who Canadians are as a people." – Jean Johnson

In partnership with the provincial and territorial craft councils of Canada, the Biennale’s Canadian Pavilion will showcase Unity & Diversity, an exhibition of 215 contemporary works of craft. The exhibition is poised to draw international attention, accompanied by live performances, demonstrations, lectures, a boutique, and more.
